Car Parks For Railay Beach Hotels.

Hello,

I am thinking of driving from Phuket to Krabi and then check into a beach resort at Railey beach. I understand that there are no roads connecting Railey beach and Krabi Town. Does anyone know where I can park my car before taking a long tail boat to Railey beach ?

Ao Nang is usually fully parked mainly with illegal taxis. However, it the morning hours you might have a chance to find a vacant lot. Otherwise you can park your vehicle at Hat Nopparathara National Park and get a boat to Railay from there.

This time of year you should be able to find parking on the road out front of the McDonalds plaza. Put it there and then walk down to the boat booth for the longtail to Railay.

Due too the big waves at the moment in Ao Nang,I would go to the pier at Ao Nammao they have secure parking for a small charge....,Alternatively you can also use the staff parking lot used by the hotel staff in Railay,for 50baht per day.Its located just next to the boat pier near the ice shop..Very safe...Hope this helps enjoy your stay in Railay...
