Mario2008
You can do it at Suan Plu on saturday morning between 8:00 and 12:00. You can also use the mail in service: For a re-entry permit,if you are in Bangkok area and you have an Internet access, you could fill in a TM. 8 form and send it to [email protected] — You should e-mail the completed form 1 day in advance. — You have to submit a 2" photo and pay a permit fee at counter service, the Immigration Bureau (soi suanplu office.) — Fee for re-entry permit: 1,000 Bahts for single 3,800 Bahts for multiple Don't forget the passport photo! VisaEd
If you email the form to them what is the procedure when you arrive at the office? Last time I emailed them the form then on the Saturday there was no sign of it. Thanks.
russianrobert
Last year they had a desk at immigration, in departures, at the airport that issued re-entry permits. Would be interesting to know if it's still there.

That is only required for service Mo - Fri.
lopburi3
1. The email was an experiment started to save waiting time prior to move to new office but apparently never worked well (probably because it was considered extra work rather than normal) - there was a drive-up window to use that was never manned - now we see reports of mail being full or officers unable to find emails so do not being it is used by many so normal wait is still required. It appears they would prefer we forget there is even an option to obtain there (but until the desk opened at airport is was the only option on a weekend). 2. Yes there is a desk at airport 0600-2400 where re-entry permit can be obtained after check-in. It is slightly higher cost but provides own copy service. lopburi3
Copy of date page and visa/extension/arrival stamps/permitted to stay would always be required.
