Has anyone ever heard that the cops seized a single rack of CD/DVD copy machines? Maybe they are too busy to destroy outdated software, Engelbert Humperdink music and Chuck Norris movies...

The GACG was created for Thailand to save face after Lady Gaga had the gall to tell the truth about what Thailand is famous for. Face, face, face. There is no substance. Thailand is next to a failed-state with respect to law enforcement.

Yep, and I bet they ran right down to Khao San Rd to have a, award document printed up with gold leaf and fancy signatures!!! giggle.gif

Crackdowns, Hubs, not sure how much more of this I can take.

It is quite tiring trying to keep up with the latest crackdown. I can imagine there is an office somewhere in the bowels of Bangkok, full of bureaucrats sitting around thinking of the next travesty of justice which requires a crackdown. The doink that thinks up the most outlandish crackdown every month wins a all-expenses paid weekend in Pattaya. cheesy.gif

Of course I am wrong, but I would've expected any award would only go to a country this "GACG" was represented in?! Fool, I am!

Or a crackdown on cracks going down.

But that would ruin the whole economy. rolleyes.gif

Also interesting to note there is

not a single word I saw about Thailand on the GACG WEBSITE.

If they had a crackdown on all the crackdowns, they would end up with no crackdowns to crackdown on, and that would be a real crack up.
