Drink-fuelled road crash on the outskirts of Pattaya seriously injures driver

PATTAYA:--A tour guide working for a local tourist attraction was seriously injured in a single-vehicle road crash on the outskirts of Pattaya early on Tuesday morning.

The driver of the vehicle, a Black Isuzu D-Max pick-up was rushed to the Queen Sirigit Hospital and remains in a serious condition. He was later named as Khun Tewalin aged 20, a guide at the Silverlake Vineyard who Police suspect was intoxicated.

Skid marks on the road indicate he was travelling at speed and appeared to slide into a concrete street pylon.
