Pattaya Korean Tour Guide Severly Injured By Speed Boat Propeller

PATTAYA:--A Pattaya, South Korean tour guide fell off a speed boat and was cut by the propeller suffering injuries from waist down. The accident happened as the Korean tourists were about to disembark at North Pattaya beach after a trip to Koh Lan island.

PATTAYA – June 4, 2012 [PDN]; Pol. Col. Thammanoon Munkong, and Pol. Lt. Col. Chuangchot Mongkolthanayuth, Pattaya police station arrived at the scene of the accident where an injured Korean national suffering from severe cuts on his waist and legs caused by the speed boat propeller. The injured was rushed to Pattaya Memorial Hospital.

The accident occurred on North Pattaya beach as the speed boat owned by Siam Rocle Co., Ltd. was bringing the Korean tourists and the tour guide (the injured) back to Pattaya after a trip to Koh Lan island.

Very nasty accident for sure. But it is not legal for him to operate as a tour guide within Thailand so perhaps he was just leader of that particular tour group ?
