Female Construction Worker killed after sand pit incident at Pattaya Construction Site

PATTAYA:--A Female Construction worker was buried underneath 3 meters of sand and died following an accident at the site of a new housing project in the Huoy Yai area on Tuesday afternoon.

Police and rescue services were called to the site where construction has just begun with the installation of underground drainage pipes. Working in a recently dug-out pit was Khun Rattana aged 40 who was unable to escape after sand left on the edge of the pit fell back into the hole and buried Khun Rattana who could not be rescued in-time.
