ICT MINISTER LED INSPECTION OF INTERNET AND GAMES SHOPS AT KASET JUNCTION

ICT Minister Sora_at Klinprathum (สรอรรถ กลิ่นประทุม) has led an inspection of internet and game shops at Kasetsart (เกษตรศาสตร์) junction, to ask the venues to abide by the law and not allow youths to forgather inside.

Mr. Sora_at this morning inspected the Kaset junction in following up the progress of the Cyber Clean project. He said the ICT Ministry is receiving cooperation from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the police, and other related agencies in creating order and preventing children from falling prey. He said he is preparing to use related laws that exist to the best benefits.

As for the ministry's development of a system to check on inappropriate software, Mr. Sora_at said the system is under development with collaboration from Kasetsart University. Major internet service providers have also been asked to detect inappropriate websites, especially those from foreign countries.
