Featured Replies

Hi guys, I'm staying in Chiang Mai and I'm wondering if there is any fishing park whereby I can pay for a day to fish there....?

Thanks.

Bo Sang Fishing Lake is popular.....stocked lake full Giant Catfish and almost guaranteed to catch a big one!

Wow giant catfish. Reminds me of River Monsters (Discovery Channel) haaa....Gonna make a trip there to catch some giant catfish soon. Thanks for the tip and the map bro. Really appreciate it.

Bo Sang was grea the day I went there and was with an English guy called Bruno, as my experience for fishing is all ocean and sea fishing, I can say I did loose 5 but did catch and release a few, from memory they had a small resturant but the lady at the counter is a real character.

It was an interesting morning for and was very interesting watching and learning how the locals fish too

Had a guest looking to do the same as you, last year.....

This guy was a city boy from Brooklyn NY, and if he can do this , so could anyone...

Some good input from some others and pics on this thread from last yr...

I fished at "Dreamlake" which is in the Chiang Mai area last year and had an enjoyable few days there. The pond is stocked with a range of exotics including Alligator Gar, Red tailed Cats, Tiger Cats, Pacu etc. There is an onsite restaurant so it may pay to make a visit to check the place out.

I am glad no one has recommended the one in San Sai Noi behind Pee Mook 1 and near the new Laguna Homes. It is just a small pond, but the worst part is at the far end of this over-sized water puddle there are piles of construction rubbish. Cement, iron, paint, etc., and it is leeching into the pond. The water looks very stagnant and unhealthy. I hope it is just a catch and release place and no one is eating the fish.
