9 Jun 2012 - thai woman 30-35 yrs old (link) - worked on a market in Lamai, felt sick, tryed to heal herself with some tablets. After several days went to a doctor, JE diagnosed, three days in hospital, didn't save her life;

Maybe its a bit late to consider vaccination since the raise of the desease already occured.

Try to avoid mosquito bites, use repellents, avoid forest areas and upon any symptoms like high temperature and weakness (similar to plain cold or fever), see a doctor ASAP to make sure its just a plain cold.

No panic, this seems like a regular periodic occasion, due to a bump in mosquitos population, and will decay soon.

Take care.
