22:56:36 SUVARNABHUMI MAIL CENTRE Container Received

I've called up Parcelforce UK and they didn't seem to have any knowledge of where the parcel is.

It's been over 2 weeks already since the status hasn't changed.

Thus, I filed an enquiry to search for my parcel at Thailand Post.

They told me that the status doesn't show, but the parcel has already left Thailand to Parcelforce Coventry at 00:25 on the 30th of May.

So I called and emailed Parcelforce, they insisted that the parcel hasn't reached UK.

Inside the package are 2 passports of mine and my friend's, also a national ID card and driver's license.

Anybody has any idea of what is happening to my parcel? Also, other instruction of how should I proceed?

I worked in this industry for + 30 years. My suggestion is to contact a senior manager at parcel

force UK and exert firm but polite pressure. Applying the same on the Thai side will leave u up in the air.

You need to move away from the customer service group and ask for a contact of the UK Operations Manager

good luck

A few months ago I had a similar problem. I sent my birth certificate EMS to the Pensions Service in Newcastle. The letter tracked on the internet to Outgoing International Suvarnabhumi then nothing again since. I went into the Post office here in Pattaya and they contacted Bangkok who insisted that it had arrived Heathrow the next day. I went onto the Parcelforce EMS site and that showed that it had arrived Heathrow but nothing further. A week later I emailed Parcelforce who advised me that the container which was supposed to contain my letter was pre-advised to arrive in the UK but as my letter hadn't been scanned it had definitely NOT been in that container and must never have left Thailand. A few days later I emailed Parcelforce again and they confirmed most definitely that my letter hadn't arrived in the UK, and advised me to make a claim in Thailand. Lo and behold, the next week I received a letter from the Pension Service which contained my birth certificate. Needless to say I emailed Parcelforce again expressing my disgust and asked them to stop sitting on their thumbs and feeding me bullshit, but to get off those thumbs and findout who was responsible for NOT scanning my letter into the UK and causing me consternation. I guess that your passports will get back to you. The EMS service seems to be good but there's some b*****d working for the postal service in England who isn't doing his job.

The thing is, the parcel doesn't even show up that it went international or they have received it on parcel force system. So parcel force can't investigate any further while EMS is not even reachable. All they said was that it had left Thailand already via TG910 at 00:25 on 30th of May. But Parcel force didn't receive it. Also, my status doesn't show 'Outgoing international'. Then how come it left the country. That's kinda funny. No answers from both parties. Both claimed that they didn't lose my parcel.

So how long did it take your birth certificate to get to you after it was sent?

Is there anyway to start an investigation here at the Parcel force side?

Since all they told me was that the parcel hasn't been sent to them.

http://www.parcelforce.com/ With my 2 EMS mailings found this site a good reponse in my case.

This site weird put EMS code and it comes up with what turned out to be a Parcelforce code, asked for re-delivery which they acknowledged but never carried out, maybe due to the fact I should have requested re-delivery through Parcelforce.

Again found this site good in my case with 12 or more items sent over some 7 years.

I had a situation where ParcelForce DID recieve my EMS letter but just kept it for 7 days before forwarding it on. When I asked <deleted> they were playing at they just replied that any complaints shoould be taken up with the source post office in Thailand.

So don't excpect any help from ParcelFarce.

EMS Thailand said that the parcel could be at UK customs. And somehow it's their fault for not scanning my parcel before it got on the plane. But they confirmed that it definitely got on the plane and is in England by now. Possibly at the customs. But I didn't get any letter from the custom neither is the status on parcel force website. Nothing indicates that it is at the custom. Should I believe that it can be at the customs? And is there any way to check if it is actually there?

Is it just me or do others think sending something this important by anything less than FedEx/DHL is just asking for trouble?

Well, certainly, after my situation, I would NEVER trust them with anything important again.

I actually have been checking on all of those websites every few hours. They didn't seem give me any other information or updates.

I send packages regularly with EMS.

Go on to the parcelforce website, input the EMS tracking number in the search. It will show details of your package.

Well as I have said it has always worked for me but it isn't an instance snap of the fingers thingy, have you contacted them by email if so they acknowledge and then you wait anything from 3 to 5 days for a response.

Funny thing is I found DHL a real pain in the butt because they don't operate in all areas of Thailand.
