If you are looking for a Japanese friend to practice your Japanese with, post a message in classified ad section of one of those Japanese free papers distributed in Japanese communities like Fuji supermarket (behind Villa, Suk. 33/1 and Suk. 39) or Japanese book section of Kinokuniya in Isetan department store. I used to see "Thai man/woman looking for Japanese friend" ads quite often in those papers (I don't pay attention to them anymore). But you never know what kind of hentai Japanese you'll run into, so better post an ad like "free thai language lesson in exchange of free japanese conversation lesson" that way better the chance of finding a decent Japanese person rather than henna ojisan type (if you know what I mean).

For a start, why send an email to daco, the largest circulation free paper in Japanese community in Thailand. They issue free papers biweekly. You have to post a message in Japanese though, I believe. Their email is [email protected]

Gambatte!
