Don't worry.Thailand is in no early danger of becoming a country known for its scientists, let alone becoming a hub for scientific research. Thailand's apologists prefer Xenophobia and Paranoia instead of scientific enlightenment and progress. Maybe they miss the feudal times of King Narai !!! Baloo22 Posted June 26, 2012 Share Posted June 26, 2012 Didn't the Thai government do a performance just like this last year when the U.S. had several Navy ships in the area with large helicopter assets and offered them to help Thailand assist it's under-water citizens? As I remember it, the government dithered and dithered and dithered until the Navy finally gave up on the effort and the ships steamed away.
