February 2, 201313 yr This is the view from another near by Temple in the area, on the right side you can see the "Temple" posted above, to the left there is a Temple in the shape of a boat, I have never managed to actually find that one! Yet!

February 22, 201313 yr Phra Maha Chedi Chai Mongkol,Roi Et This huge chedi is 101 meters long, 101 meters wide and 101 meters highand was built on a plot measuring 101 Rai, which is about 40 acres. Thenumber 101 comes from the name of the province it is located in, namelyRoi Et, which means 101 in Thai.
February 22, 201313 yr Great stuff...one of the best topics have gone through in a while I don't have a pic but wat tuan tow near Pak Chong was interesting stair followed by cave followed by secret cave and then a white tree and a black tree growing up through the roof of the cave. Maybe someone has a picture or two
February 23, 201313 yr This is a new Wat they have been building south of Lamai Samui, for a while now .... (several years) .... I assume one day it will be decorated, although it is quite striking the way it is.
