tvaddict Posted June 28, 2012 Share Posted June 28, 2012 I will be coming to study Thai Language for a month's course in at Payap, on the east side of CM soon. I don't know Chiang Mai so am asking for your recommendations/advice here. I need to find somewhere to stay- I'll be going each day out to Payap and back so want something on the eastern side to cut out some traffic Prefer somewhere near a bit of life, so I can enjoy a bit of CM too- it is a holiday too after all!!! Looking for somewhere near night life ( Loi Khor Rd?) and places to eat (street food is ok). If possible a pool would be good- would be prepared to spend a bit more (3,4K for the month for that). If not possible - I'll just find another place to swim and may be a gym too. Can this all be done at around 5-15,000 per month? Serviced apartment/ hotel with month deals / normal room no luxuries needed really but internet/ cable tv would be an advantage and worth paying at the 15,000 B range for equally happy to pay 5,6,7 K for something more basic as long as it's clean and safe and in the right area Suggestions please?
