PM THAKSIN INVITES ALL BUSINESSMEN TO LISTEN TO THE GOVERNMENT’S ADMINISTRATIVE POLICIES FOR THIS YEAR TODAY

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinnawat invites all businessmen to listen to the government’s administrative policies for this year today.

Government spokesperson Surapong Suebwonglee (สุรพงษ์ สืบวงศ์ลี) declared the results of the cabinet meeting yesterday. He said that the premier declared his policies for this year, focusing on social, economic, and politics and administration. On economic front, he said that the government will focus on the projects that the government has promised the people, including the 30-baht health care scheme, the alternative energy plan, the debt-restructuring policy, OTOP projects, 1 million cows project, etc.

Mr. Surapong said that on social front, the government will focus on eradication of drugs, mafia, human-trafficking, while solving traffic problems in Bangkok and its vicinity areas. On politics and administration, the government will focus on power decentralization and corruption problem. He said that to inform all sides of the government’s policies, about 350 businessmen have been invited to listen to the government’s policies at 11 am today at Santimaitri (สันติไมตรี) building, the Government House. He said that the meeting today is aimed at allowing the business sector to adjust their work approaches to correspond with the government’s policies.

Indeed. What an amazing "shopping list" for this new year. Lot of work !

But obviously he forgot some important point : "every thai will win at least one time at lottery", "free gasoline for all", "age of retirement at 35 for all people" etc. etc.

However, I didn't know about the "one million cows program". Sounds very exciting.
