Or even if some elderly, wealthy socialite/film star etc has a kept toy boy, the response from women is usually "good luck to her, she can afford it". If a rich guy has a pretty young thing, it's "she's only with him for his money". There is a real double standard amongst women. I know three clubs like that in Pattaya. I'm not particularly desperate but I do feel there is that something missing.and I think it was the nurses that really triggered it off with the way they were with me, the caring attitude and their general demeanour. After replying to most posts since I got back I'm parched. yet that is it after we all go home to our beds and wake up in the morning to a huge space that is only good for sprawling in I know your feelings about the nurses. i suffered shoulder injury few years ago and was seeing a specialist at Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok. Not only all the nurses were super sexy, but also super nice and even somewhat "flirty" When i agreed to a surgery, i was also very excited(deep inside) about getting to know the nurses and have a perfect opportunity to ask one of them out as a thank you for taking care of me. Well that plan miserably failed, because when i woke up after the surgery i was surrounded by double my age, over weight nurses who were as rough as construction workers. I did go searching for the little angels, only they were no where to be found. After the full recovery, i returned to see the specialist every month, only to see that the sexy,sweet, flirty angels were no longer sweet or flirty. I guess their job was done, i did pay 500 000 baht for a surgery Sigh, such a wondrous dream to be dashed. I am hoping to find one or two when I go back for my X-rays on the 14th. I might take some goodies with me and wander around like a little lost soul until I find some pretty nurses. Maybe pay a visit to the ward where I was treated. Just be my lucklan those nurses will be on night shift!! Thailand seems to be such a small country, that after a few years being here it seems like everyone knows who and what I am. Sorry, im just not quite clear what you are asking. I know a lot of women, and the topic of paying for sex has never once been in any of our conversations. I think if it ever was to come up, most women would have a " ??? " expression. Sex (and colourful conversations regarding it) has been part of our conversations, but never talk of paying for it. If it were to, regarding women who pay men in Africa or whatever, i highly doubt there would be double standards in a train of thought. Some of it is negative for women, such as being a slut vs being a player. Others is negative to men, such as being a dirty old man vs being a hot cougar. Female sex tourism is almost never mentioned in the media despite being business in Jamaica for example, while male sex tourism is often villifyed. Another great topic is how when a female high school teacher sleeps with a student it's 'that guy is lucky' where as if a man did it, it is 'hang that vile pedo bastard'. Male sexuality = agressive, dangerous, female sexuality = giving, healthy. These are feminist ideals and are very obvious if you open your eyes. I have NEVER heard a woman even admit that women pay for sex. It's like a taboo subject with them. Yet when the subject of men coming to Thailand came up, it was always the sniggers and comment "I know what you are going there for". Obviously I haven't asked every woman living what their opinion on the subject is, but one can glean from conversations, and what one reads what the general concensus is.
