Hey All,

My girlfriend got her passport sent back today with a 6 month holiday visa hooray!

We only applied for a month holiday, and will be sticking to this as we dont want to jeopardise any future settlement visa.

We have been together 5 years now, and i have been to Thailand many times (including spending 6 months in Chiang Mai studying Thai language), her reason to return was her work (night market worker), and the fact that we didnt want to ruin any thing for future by overstaying which we put in the letter.

She was invited over for my sisters wedding as well so i think that helped.

It was a bit complicated regarding living accommodation and funds, but we were very clear with everything so that obviously helped!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped with advice! 7v7 and tomcreeduk were awesome in their assistance particulary!

If anyone needs any further info on what i used and how i did it (no agency all myself), give me a shout and ill try to help if possible.

Now i just have to buy the flights!
