Somtamnication
This according to a textbook, used in schools all over Thailand. When I was shown this today, I was shocked. More so when my wife translated it to. Never mind the pics in the textbook, but the text. Rather than me translate it, perhaps Samram or another tv member who can read Thai, can indeed post excerpts of this lovely book. The pdf file has 3 pages, along with the cover page of the textbook. faranginbook.pdf

CurryAfficionado
They are not too far off. The article describes a farang in Pattaya who is pretending to be a "decent" man from overseas. He meet two girls via "online chat". When he meets them in person, he is fat, ugly and bald. And he has no money. The book is aimed at Prathom 5 students. The message is: be careful about men you meet online.

I think you'll find that "fat" is a real turn off. Baldness and old age seem to be less of an issue. But yes, having no money sucks. submaniac
This book is <deleted>' AWESOME!!!! Now when I post about how Falangs in Pattaya are broke scum--I can cite a book in reference to support my claims!!! How cool is that? And the illustrations have perfectly captured the image of how I secretly envision many posters on Thaivisa.

Pdaz
Lets be honest most people who come to Pattay, and before any remark I said Most , are sex tourist here to abuse the poor girls. You need to get out more, maybe even visit Pattaya.. 'abuse' You have to be kidding. Thousands of girls working in bars and more arriving every week. To be 'abused' ? 55555Only if by 'abuse' you mean charging clueless tourists 4-5 time the minimum wage for an hours 'work' These same 'abusers' send money every Month, buy scooters, cars and houses and support sick buffalo's all over Isaan. Hardly abuse is it ? Only places I have ever seen indentured girls or girls forced to go with customers have been Thai owned and run brothel/Karaoke/massage places catering to Thai customers. When will the 'do gooders' wake up and realise how much money the Pattaya girls are making and how many love the lifestyle. Certainly better than being deceived, impregnated and then abandoned by an older relative or 'boyfriend' in the village.
