Woman sexually assaulted by Karaoke Bar employee in South Pattaya

PATTAYA:--A 27 year old Thai Woman was reportedly subjected to a sexual assault on Saturday afternoon by a 19 year old man who had just been released from prison.

Police were called to an apartment complex in South Pattaya, opposite the CAT Telecom Building and met with the victim who had been in Pattaya for the last 1 ½ months having previously worked in Phuket. Earlier on Sunday she had received a knock on her door and the suspect, known as Mr. Bank, who is thought to work for a nearby Karaoke Bar, forced his way inside the room, tied the hands and legs of the victim together and tied a shirt around her mouth to prevent her screams being heard and then sexually assaulted her.

The man was not known by the victim but was recognised by the victim’s neighbour who was able to give details to Police who later went to his room but he had already escaped. During the incident two Computer Tablets and a Blackberry Phone, purchased by the victim’s English Boyfriend were taken.
