Try Issaan lawyers in Khorat. They have a webpage and are a sponsor of this board. You should have a close look at the Civil and Commercial Code of Thailand (just google it), starting from section 1620. The uncles have no right to collect anything, which belonged to her parents and have to give it all back.

My wife reccomends that she go to the local amphur where there are solicitor/lawyers that change every two hours (avoids corruption me thinks) and they will advise her, if she does not have money to fight the uncles then this would be a good place to go because they dont charge you apparently. wife also says if you want your friend to talk to her you can pm me with friends number and my wife will talk to her more in depth as she also knows a good solicitor.

For a first check you can go to the court in Khorat. There she can get legal advice for free and maybe they can suggest a lawyer too. I did that several times regarding my divorce and they were always helpful, but that was not in Khorat. But it is for free and worth it. Not forget to take all papers she has, regarding the case.
