Cheap Pay-As-You-Go Gym In Central Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Where is the cheap pay-as-you-go gym in central Bangkok ?

How much ?

Website ?

Thanks

There isn't such a thing as a "cheap" day pass fee for a good gym; for, regular members pay for an annual memberships which can be quite expensive compared to ones Thai salary. Why allow a visitor in a well maintained gym taking up space and equipment while the regulars have paid a steep yearly fee? (unless the establishment will make some profit off the one day visitor) My suggestion to to find a hotel with a gym (which is hard on line since many of the are "token gyms" or a couple pieces of broken down equipment) You can try the local outside gym at Lumpini Park. Basic dumb bells and weights - not too many machines since the equipment is outside. Nice place to meet the locals.

For a good old "sports massage" in the bushes.

Grande Centre Point Rachadamri has a very nice fitness center that they keep in good shape with a generous number of machines. After getting burned by the excessive sick.gif one-day fees that the central Bangkok gyms charge, I pay a little extra to stay there when I am in Bangkok and actually come out financially ahead. For people spending a relatively short time in Bangkok, paying a little extra for a good hotel with a good fitness center is probably the way to go.

There is a small gym near to Ratchachewi BTS station, if were to walk towards Siam Square, its just before the bridge on your left and costs 100Baht.
