Program: Don Linder of Wine CNX presents "The Real Truth about Tasting Wine" -- myths and realities and why the most expensive wine isn't always the best. Two sets of actual tastings will probably surprise you. You don't have to be an expert to choose and enjoy good wine.

Information: [email protected] or www.chiangmaiexpatsclub.com

The Chiang Mai Expats Club meets every 4th Saturday of each month at the Shangri La Hotel, with a variety of guest speakers, an open forum, access to advice from experts on topics ranging from health care and insurance to visas. Plus, the members enjoy the Lucky Draw and book/DVD exchange. It's a fun way to meet fellow expats and to learn about Outside Group Activities and local resources.

Haven't been to an expats meeting for a while and this is as good a topic as any! By the way, if anyone wants any recent aviation magazines, (Sport Aviation, Defence Weekly, Kitplanes), I've got a stack of about 25 I can bring to the meeting. Free to the first one that PMs me.
