Wonkeybangphoey....Your soapbox will be booted before the morning, anyways I would love to hear your opinion again, just keep it below 3 multi quotes and I might read one of them....please explain why a guy dying on the Chao Fa East Road in Phuket isnt an issue? If i feel you have a valid point I wont contribute again (I promise)

Your feathers are ruffled because you are wrong. Anyways the main point of the OP is....I would like to hear about anyone who saw the accident. Because it happens every day. The fact that you witnessed it and it seems were profoundly affected by it, doesn't make it any more of an issue.

Because someone who hates police, hates authority and boasts about drink driving like a naughty teenager can't really be taken seriously when they claim they want to discuss the matter for the good of other road users.

Because if the wind was blowing in a different direction and someone else made this post you are just as likely to be the one flaming them and telling them that this isn't a nanny state, shit happens etc etc.

Because it's cringe worthy that you would even think about pretending to care about the victims family just because it aided your argument with Kenny.

And finally because I never even said it wasn't an issue in the first place, I just said that I think you come across as being extremely immature for someone of your age.

Yeah mate I said I witnessed it, it was extremely horrific. I actually stated I wont be getting around on a scooter again. I noticed you also didnt contribute to the 200kph high performance car gang thread, so speeding is fine with you then? So then driving under the influence shouldnt be a problem?

I would love to know where I stated I hate police. I disagree with the concept of volunteer police...I didnt see any of them at the scene of the accident. The locals were handling it just fine. If I cant be taken seriously...why are you bothering to post here? Only a fool gives another fool the time of day, Im actually a changed person now. No more flaming, Im just getting to the core of the problems in Phuket. I want to make a difference...and I wont drink drive again. Ill actually be the odd one out in my area, cheers bro

Because I didn't post on the thread I agree with speeding?? Great logic!!

Speeding, as far as going 50 in a 40 zone or 80 in 70 (MPH) isn't in the same ball park as drink driving. As for going 200kph (125 mph) on Phuket roads goes then yes, I would say that is equally as spasticated as drink driving. Why are you trying to rid yourself of blame for DD by diverting the attention to another group of people??

Besides, drink driving and speeding, and knowing that it's wrong is one thing, boasting about it as if it was big and clever is juvenile beyond belief.

I was flaming. I dont drink and drive. I dont speed. When I go out my fiance drives. But I see drink driving and speeding every day in Phuket, what I dont see is the preachers like the ones in this forum, reaching over the bar and taking the keys off Nok, Ying and Sombat at the bar...or when Jergan is wobbling home on his scooter there is no intervention. Why not? I reckon your just another keyboard warrior BTB, and ...practice what you preach and actually make a difference.....get out there and tackle these issues and tell us all about it. I look forward to your new topics 'how I made a difference in Phuket'....I wont be holding my breath

to add to this I have learnt the error of my ways and wont be flaming or trolling anymore, I have learnt the errors of my ways and have been given sufficient warning along with about the grand total of 3 months in banned time. I actually enjoy the forum and will hopefully contribute for many more years

laugh.png So you've been forced to be a good boy and not by choice. Didn't help you to walk away from yet another child like slanging match with Kenny though did it.

As for your last post you are confused again. Because I don't take the keys from other drunk people I'm not a hypocrite. Nor am I guilty of not Practicing what I preach. By me not drink driving I am practicing what I preach, not taking keys from random strangers has absolutely nothing to do with it.

There you go mate 10 posts just for you. thumbsup.gif

Your next nick name should be Benny Hinn, anyways Kenny is an easy target...keeps me amused while im watching the olympics, your a close second. It cracks me up that you keep coming back...so desperate to voice your opinion. Anyways to keep on topic....whats your opinion on the guy that died today? Did you hear anything about it? Did you see it? Do you care/ or are you just pontificating about your same ideas? Why dont you post something about something you saw today instead of disecting posts in your same transparent ways...its so obvious its laughable

...whats your opinion on the guy that died today? Did you hear anything about it?

I heard it scared a bloke so much he said he wasn't going to ride a bike ever again.

well considering your on a budget and your a honda dream man you wouldnt have much choice would you, Ive got the power of choice and I'll be driving a car all the time after todays accident. Anyways enjoy saving up for the car...perhaps get the missus to get finance for you, thats if you can afford the repayments

Ahh bless. Needed to see an accident for himself before he could make the decision. You're a child trapped in a man's body Snamos. sad.png

Well im happy with that..better than being a twisted, cynical, pontificator trapped in a young mans body isnt it? Did I hit close to home there buddy?

As I said...Im a changed man after seeing that accident today...I actually think i might have convinced my falang neighbour to buy a car after seeing the carnage.

Lol I thought you said no more flaming? The I am going to be good lasted for what 5 mins, don't worry if the accident you saw has affected you personally, it will pass and back on the bike in what a couple of days!! I heard so many people say over the years "I am a changed man now". I bet you will be back to your boasting and using previous posts plus being way to personal very quickly, oh you are already, shish some people!!!!

Yea right, do you boast about being a drunk driver to your neighbour? A changed man who now wants to make a difference, start by being a decent chap who never resorts to getting personal, name calling etc etc. I doubt you have or will ever convince anyone of anything, no one takes notice of a confessed drunk driver!!

Countdown to thread being closed. 10 9 8 7 and so on, lol

Sorry what is wrong with being on a budget? What is wrong with driving a Honda dream? You have the power of choice to be a nice man yet you choose to be a nasty man!! What is wrong with having finance? What is wrong with you?

I think speed was a factor here Kenny as it was a Thai bloke pole-axed into the back of a truck, I noticed you havent voiced your opinion in the forum regarding the high performance vehicles flying around the island. I'm smirking here at your public apology to the admins, perhaps its the Aussie in me that would prevent me from doing that

Well actually you are a pomstralian!! If people want to speed around the Island in powerful cars that's up to them, let's just hope they don't kill anyone!! Yes speed does kill especially when a vehicle is being driven by someone who has never been trained to drive correctly!!

Speed doesn't kill. Deceleration does.

Ok, time out on the flames. The topic is about about an accident on Chao Fa Rd, but as usual it degenerates into a flame fest. Any more and topic will be closed. Stay on the header topic.

He doesnt want to emphasis the gore. Wake up!

It traumatized him to the point where he is quitting riding bikes entirely and hopefully curbs his drink driving while he is at it.

You stare at a mangled body up close and tell me its not a time to reflect on ones self.

See it from an adult point of view Kenny.

I looked at dead people and dealt with bad accidents for over 20 yrs, you reflect for a short time before returning to what you do normally in your life, you honestly believe it has put him off riding a bike, rubbish he will reflect forget and continue doing what he does, there are exceptions of course where a person will actually change there life for the better, not in this case as we all will see in his future posts, am I right in saying he will never flame post again?

Yep reflection is something we all have done, I did it many times and still do it many times a day, drunk drivers who kill others reflect on where to get there next shot(excuse the pun, If indeed a certain poster has Been affected to the extent of becoming a decent person then that is good news for the rest of us.
