windguru thinks there is some rain coming this weekend, aboot time too as the Canadians would say, bring it on

Yes, a bit. Windguru is IMO the best weather forecast site, but more than 2 days away I don't trust any prediction.

Stay up in Bang Niang. Same weather as You guys down south. Strange though, hardly no wind..hot!

I hope your neighbors are right. Windguru changes as often as my ex’s personality. We could really use some rain. My well is looking a bit

low, low, low, low, low, low.

rainin' in rawai and it feels gooood, awesome sky too

Yes, fantastic golden glow just before sunset. Struggled to rain, only lasted 10 minutes, stopped now.

No rain at North East. Rain radar show some spots tough.

I can not wait to see how the Ao Nang lightning radar will work when we get good thunderstorm.

Secret drinking spot that only myself and a few other TV members know about.

Sunset yesterday:post-92090-0-03901900-1344826121_thumb.j

Not any more...Eastern end of Nai Harn...

Had to set my windscreen wipers on intermittent for about 1.5 minutes..................

Got some quite heavy rain in Chalong in the early hours of this morning. Enough to soak the ground.

On the down side it's probably the same storm that set the transformer alight in Patong that started the fire in the disco.sad.png

Not any more...Eastern end of Nai Harn...

Its the southern end of Nai Harn thats the Nai Harn headland in the background

We had a good rain around 4-430 in Kamala. Just enough to get the crap out of the air, and cool it down a bit.

Didn't even water the garden properly.

Wasn't enough.

Same with us, rained lightly for about 10 minutes around midnight still had to water the garden this morning

17Th day of month and 2 light showers so far, average days when it rains in August is 20

If you want to get pedantic, Nai Harn beach is aligned north-west to south-east, so, it's the south-east headland, but, south, or east is good enough.

Good rain today and temperature dropped to 26C. I could collect 1000L of rain water for home usage.

Some lightnings as well. There is a new lightning radar at http://www.aonangweather.com/

and collective information for Phuket at http://panphuket.com/weather

shhhhhhh.............come on now, don't let the cat out of the bag.

All we got at my house in Rawai was a mere 1.5 CM of rain overnight. I guess other areas must have gotten a bit more...

It's really raining here now! Best downpour since early July!

I've had over 2 CM in the past few hours. But yesterday I was down at the Rawai 7-11 at the beach and it dumped. After it finished, I rode home and the road was dry less than a KM away.

Yes, I've had the beachroad wet and a few hundred meters inland quite often.

I'm still amazed at the way it can be raining on one side of my house, and dry on the other side! Not during heavy downpours, but when its light rain.

Plenty of rain in Rawai wont have to water the garden or top up the pool for a few days at least

Also heavy downpours. Long time ago I was living in Ao Makham, and quite often when I drove home during a rainshower there was a line on the road where it was wet and dry. And always in the same place, must be something in the air there.

Drizzle in Kamala, reminds me of the Pacific NW, except its only been doing it for 30 minutes versus 30 days.

I have often noticed that on the Karon Beach road lust before the Arcadia Hotel. Always amazed me that the dry line would stay in the same place much of the day.

Long hard rain for the past 3-4 hours in Kamala. Really cleaning things upsmile.png

looks like normal service has been resumed. nothing but overcast and rain for the next 10 days of more. i love it.
