Blacklisted Ip Address - Thai Visa'S Real Mail Problem?

Featured Replies

There was a lot of fuss about the "ban" on Yahoo, and possibly Hotmail. That reason for the ban is because these webmail providers regard Thai Visa's mails as spam, not the other way round.

Thai Visa uses a service called YourMailingListProvider.com to send out its newsletters. (Check the full header in your emails.)

This company's servers are in Belgium. The IP address of the relay of my latest mail is 87.237.8.245. This address is blacklisted for being used to send spam.

This can be checked at http://www.lashback.com/blacklist/.

The problem is not with Yahoo and Hotmail. It is will these services which are used to send mass mailings. They are used by spammers. This is Thai Visa's problem.

I feel they have not been entirely clear or honest about this.

You can easily check this out yourself by checking the full headers of your emails.

Regards.

It's only a part of the problem. YMLP is being blocked from time to time. Sometimes blocked, sometimes not.I can't go into the tech bits here, but we are in the process of changing bulk email providers.

I will get back to you when we have something to report.

Cheers
