Live Streaming Of "Life Fantastic" Dhamma Talk On August 20

Featured Replies

Dhamma talk by Phra Pandit of the Little Bangkok Sangha:

PURE FANTASY

Life-fantastic-300x240.jpg

How much time do you spend in Fantasy land? Does it help? Is reality born from your dreams?

Buddhism teaches to stay in the present moment – that means no fantasy. But is reality a poor substitute for a pleasant dream?

This Monday (20th August 2012) we will be be meeting at what should be a regular new venue: The Dance Centre on Sukhumvit 31 (not the old Dance Centre on Suk 24). We will be launching a new format – ‘Short and Sharp’ which is a dhamma talk lasing not longer than 30 minutes, followed by meditation.

Previous events have been either Talk or Meditation. Now we will be striking a balance between the two, with a genuine meditation session.

We will attempt to live stream the Event via our Ustream channel (please forgive the 20 second advert – it’s a free service from Ustream). Last time we tried this quality was pretty good.

Click here for the Ustream Channel.
