Seperate Subforums For Big Bikes And Scooters.

Featured Replies

A lot of people have zero interest in big bikes and only seek info and post about scooters in Thailand. I and apparently many others are only interested in "big bike" news and discussion in Thailand and thus have subscribed to the motorbike forum, but have zero interest in small displacement scooters. There seems to be very little crossover in the people interested in these two topics. Can I suggest TV split the motorbike forum into two, one for "scooters" and for "big bikes"?

Good idea joe

What do you class as a big bike?

I have a Yamaha Virago 535, a Honda Phantom 200 and a Yamaha Mio Fino scooter.

Where would I look then?

Sounds like an interesting idea. I have forwarded it to the team.

Cheers

Easy. Your Virago and Phantom would be in the big bike forum, and your Mio in the scooter forum. ;)

I would classify a scooter anything 100-135cc such as the Dream, Click, Mio, Wave, Fino, Nouvo, Smash, Kaze Hit, Sonic, PCX, Vespa's, all the Chinese clones of these, plus all the "sofa on wheels" Maxi scooters. Everything else can go in the big bike forum. KSR110, KLX125, D-Tracker 125 and similar I would also have in the big bike forum, despite the small displacement, as they clearly aren't scooters. Perhaps "Motorcycle Forum" and "Scooter Forum" would be a better name? Perhaps some other nationalities can comment on if that term "scooters" is widely used. In the states that is what we would call them.
