It just seems like what you are saying is intellectually dishonest. I disagree. It does not belong in the gay forum. Jingthing's perspective on this topic is invaluable because gay men are just not into ladyboys. The response to this topic indicates it's of major interest to heterosexuals. But JT is only one gay man. Admittedly, I have a gay friend who shares JT's viewpoint, so that makes two gay men. My real point is why gay men don't want to let ladyboys into the "club"? It's a little like immigration. Once settled and comfortable, many immigrants (Canada, Australia etc) want to raise the drawbridge... I totally agree with you for the purposes of one's happiness, who cares? But we do have the scientific labels and they are what they are: Homosexual means attraction to someone with the same chromosome pair as you have--hence the term "homo-". Heterosexual means attraction to someone with a different chromosome pair than you have--hence the term "hetero-". Bisexual means attraction to both, you guessed it--hence the term "bi-".
