Don Muang Airport

Featured Replies

We have a Suvarnabhuni Airport Forum, I think there should be a Don Muang Airport Forum...giving the fact that most domestic and budget airlines are moving there...clap2.gif

Good idea - but probably a little premature.

The first 2 pages of the Suvarnabhumi forum span 2 & 1/2 months worth of threads....

I'd wait for a while after Don Muang gets into full swing during October...

Or re-name the Suvarnabhumi forum to "Suvarnabhumi & Don Muang" forum....

Just my two cents worth.....

edit: On reflection I think re-naming it to Suvarnabhumi & Don Muang now would be best.... rather than a new separate forum....

...and can the mods please edit the title of this thread to reflect the topic - it is a little general now.

Great!

We will do a Don Mueang Forum. Check back later this evening.

Cheers!

rolleyes.gif Actually I think it could be a useful sub-forum topic.

In other words another open another sub-topic under the existing international airport topic.

That would be more useful for those who would arrive in swampy by international flight...and then plan to go on domestic flights in Thailand to destinations outside of Bangkok.

Having a sub-topic like that for Don Mueng would be a place for questions like:

1. How do I get from an international flight to a domestic flight...or vice versa?

2. How long does it take to transfer from a domestic flight to an international flight (or vice versa) when going through both airports?

And such questions that might be asked...especially by tourists arriving in Thailand for the first time.

Rename the topic or needs addl tpic thread. Not premature. Not having is very confusing.

I think now is a good time to integrate the two as many people are now confused and let's face it there isn't that much concise information on firstly which airlines are actually going there and who are actually staying and the information to get from one to the other by means of best/quickest/cheapest transport and from where!Jed.

Great!

We will do a Don Mueang Forum. Check back later this evening.
