How To Reset Keybord To Thai On Android Tablet

Featured Replies

When I bought my tablet a few months ago the external and virtual keybords were set to UK English. Now I want to switch back to Thai , but dont know how.

I have tried following, but nothing works:

- changed the system language and keybord to Thai

- in system language UK , I cannot select a Thai input language (it is not there)

I would like to keep the system language in UK, and swith both the external and virtual keybords.

Anyone know what to do ?

Thanks,

Michael

You can install the Go keyboard from Google Play. There you can also find a Thai and many other keyboard languages.

Then change standard keyboard to Go Keyboard.

Was your tablet ever in Thai? If not then you will need to download a thai keyboard from google play.

I installed the google play keyboard and it works, but only the virtual one.

But I can use that one, so thanks for your help.

you don't have to use a virtual one. Just install a standard keyboard and you can chose between them at your leisure.

I have this one working.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cootek.smartinputv5

then you need the thai pack

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cootek.smartinputv5.language.thai

you need to activate a new kb in the android settings menu..language and input...

Make sure you have a check mark next to all the keyboards you want to be able to use on the fly. You might even have a thai keyboard there already that just needs a checkmark.
