what is it about the hard luck stories with thailand.with all the info out there ,there still seems to be a lot of blokes falling for thai ladies that take them for all they have.it seems to be a never ending story of my wife doesn't love me,she needs money for buffolo or i have to buy house for family.when they finally work out they only loved them for the money it seems to be a big surprise.then they come here wanting sympathy.well i say haa bad luck .you are an idiot.ok ok i might not be quite the expat yet, i only spend a few months a year here, but i do have 2 amazing kids,a fantastic wife and an absosutelly awesome thai family that takes care of everything while i am not here.my wife keeps account of every cent spent and doesn't waste anything.so i guess what i am asking is,is there anybody else out there that thinks the same.is there anybody else that wouldn't change a thing and loves thailand just the way it is

(ps i have had quite a few )

We all fall for the oldest of all tricks, flattery,

even more so if it comes from someone half our age.

If no other flattery seem appropriate, why not "you have good heart",

or the invert flattery if even that sound silly, "thai man no good"

- implying you're still better than the neighbor,

even if nothing particular good attribute about you or your appearance can be pointed out

and that's what I am saying.it is all our fault for falling for it.good luck to them.
