ozziebloke
Is this guy related to the numpty that suggested barter trade with Iran wouldn't fall under the international sanctions? Me tinks the only people getting dumber in Thailand are the politicians. After all, they are only following in the footsteps of their western brethren, where intelligence has very little to do with getting elected. Lack of intelligence is in the Thai genes, politicians or rice farmers, it doesn't matter. And this is your supercilious point of veiw ?
Genericnic
I especially agreed on his comment: that the best way to study a foreign language was by sleeping with a foreigner. I think they should make it law and issue a prison sentence of 5 years to any Thai that refuses to sleep with a foreigner. Haven`t heard of this guy before, but I`ll vote for him. This is not unique advice to Thailand. Years ago, I was going to study Spanish. I asked a Latino judge I knew in Houston what was the best way to learn it. He told me to get a Mexican girlfriend. It seems to be a fairly common understanding. David
ozziebloke
"They" (The ever faithful Thai girl), What a hoot!!!, From the first day they watch the TV in their little hooch and see a farang on the box , usually in Nakhon Nowhere (Isaan), the master plan is set in motion, cohorting with mum, find a farang, but study first. 3 main subjects: 1/Learn to lie, 2/Learn to steal and 3/ Learn to cheat, oh sorry and also learn how to play at being in love. Get the ever loving farang to buy Tii Din, Tii Nah, House, Pickup for the Lung, gold for mum, motorcycle for thai boyfriend and then kick him out on the street like a dog and invite the thai boyfriend to take your place. Life as a farang in Thailand, Wunderbaa!!! Keep going back to work, pick that money of the money tree and return, hey presto DITTO!!!!! Not everyone has your scenario. And it dosn't sound any different to australia or other countries as i have heard many times
Tanlic
What a dick. he should be telling them to get of their lazy <deleted> and get a job or two like the rest of the world. And you should think before you type.Thailand 2010 had an unemployment rate of 1.2%, The UK 8.2%, Denmark 6.2%, Germany 5.4% Finland 7.6% New Zealand 6.8% and it goes on and on. Thailand would put most countries to shame when it comes to unemployment because a vast amount of their people are poor and have no choice but work for buttons just to just eat. I don't know which world you live in but my bet it beings with F and ends in antasy Edited August 29, 2012 by Tanlic
xavierr
The Spanish government doesn't give anything for free anymore. To add insult to injury they tax you and wipe out your last savings without any qualms. As the worsening economic situation unfolds, Thailand will also be affected. But I would not recommend any Thai woman to marry a farang in order to get wealthy as the world-wide depression develops and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Better everyone brace himself or herself for a more Spartan and less wasteful lifestyle.
manly100
When my Thai wife and I went to immigration to obtain a married persons visa the immigration officer congratulated my wife and pointed out how her marriage would benefit the Thai GDP. He really seemed to be sincere. I do love the honesty of Thai people.
Bagwan
I know - left the 'k' off 'new'. Good man we have to show them that the western education system is working. What a fine example you have shown. Walking Street NOT walking street. English Language 101. Proper nouns always are spelt with the initial letter capitalised. I've never seen or heard of a street that can even crawl let alone walk.
ozziebloke
Well, he's just saying what a lot of Thai people are thinking (and doing) ... Yes I agree with you. Stupid foriegners marry prostitute's. Perhaps now the stupid Foriegner will now look for girls/women outside the bar scene and get a nice girl instead of a well used whore. Are you talking about yourself ?
Bagwan
I hope this gentleman with working advice will keep his mouth open in the future. as he's a mouth-breather, that is essential for his survival. . Popular Post Woodcaulk
I will miss this thread. It has been quite entertaining. For all of you who have enjoyed the humor of it....carry on smartly....for those of you who have gotten yourselves all twisted up over Sunai's comment or the post of your fellow TV posters who find the humor in it all......remember we are laughing at you not with you

jcw
So the marriage visa will become easier, right? Logic would assume so as this appears to be the Gov Policy, but it wont be. The will just make it harder !!!!
SOTIRIOS
......just proof that it is a national mindset....... ....marry the lonely or lovelorn sap and take him to the cleaners.... ...then when he is divorced or murdered (commits suicide) ...blame it on 'cultural differences'.... DrTuner
So the marriage visa will become easier, right? Logic would assume so as this appears to be the Gov Policy, but it wont be. The will just make it harder !!!! That was the whole idea, wasn't it, that the Thai women move outside Thailand to reap the benefits of the socialist systems ? So it would make sense to tighten the visa policy, not letting the foreign hubbies stay in Thailand and water out the master plan. There must be something about this in military strategical books .. like sending infiltrators to enemy territory, let them reproduce there and when the time is ripe, conquer the enemy from within. Maybe Thailand is planning world domination, the MP is after all a good buddy of Thaksin, isn't he ?

KarstenBoAndersen
Some have to become corrupt politicans because they would not even be able to get foreign spouse Khun Sunai !! delh
Makes me cringe when people refer to the health systems, education, welfare etc in European countries being "free" its because most people work hard and pay there high taxes ! Well I'm controversial as ever - I say give the man a break, it's a change for a politician to have a sense of humour instead of spouting crud about 'drug free in 3 years' or 'we've got the floods under control'. As for education I'm still appalled at how many farang cannot distinguish between there and their. I know what you mean, they're always getting those two mixed up !! GoodThaiGirl
Most Thai men are narrow minded like this pr**k politician, thats why we, Thai girls choose to have farang husbands rather than living our live in HELL. He is right that we all have a better life living with farang husband because most of farang seem to be more responsible and sensible and has better leadership.

Jim walker
It seems that Sunai Julphongsathorn’s private Thai education did not learn him very much with regards diplomacy I suppose at the end of the day he was perhaps talking indirectly to his daughters in the school child audience. Go <deleted> / find a farang and you will have a lazy life just like a Thai MP

delh
Ah, another fine specimen from PTP! In the cesspool of Thai politics it's not exactly the cream that rises to the top. how241
This gentleman does not seem very bright. He pretty much insulted every Thai woman and Western man in Thailand.
