CHAIYAPHUM IS PROMOTING TOURISM BY UNDERLINING ITS RICH AND BEAUTIFUL NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

The province of Chaiyaphum is promoting tourism by underlining its rich and beautiful natural environment. Chaiyaphum aims to induce tourists who are fond of nature to visit the province. Besides, there are also many local OTOP products in the province which are widely known in Thailand. The TAT is now using Chaiyaphum’s natural environment as its main selling point to tourists.

The northeastern province of Chaiyaphum is deemed as one of the provinces with wealthy natural resources and stunning natural beauties. Some of the attractions include Mor Hin Khao (มอหินขาว) and Phu King (ภูคิ้ง). Travelers can also experience the unforgettable sunset scenery in this province. Undoubtedly, Chaiyaphum is one of the popular tourist destinations in Thailand.

Chaiyaphum Provincial Governor Prapakorn Smiti (ประภากร สมิติ) indicated that the size of the province is quite extensive and is filled with rich natural resources and majestic mountains and evergreen forests. Moreover, the province has many OTOP items to offer. He added that the tourist sites in Chaiyaphum will be developed nevertheless, with an aim to draw in more tourists throughout the year.

Meanwhile, Senate Speaker Suchon Chaleekrua (สุชน ชาลีเครือ) said Chaiyaphum is a province with many interesting appeals. However, further public relations activities will have to be carried out to increase public awareness of this province.

At the same time, the Chairperson of the Association of Domestic Travel, Mr. Maslin Sukhapatchanarakul (มัสลิน สุขพัฒชานรากุล), sees that in order to develop these tourist sites, a good management is a must. For instance, Mor Hin Khao is ready to welcome more tourist arrivals, but the area has to be clearly divided for tourists, as certain locations may not be suitable for travelers due to high humidity.
