Israel grabbed the Golan Heights in 1967, never gave it back. Around 20 years ago, there were negotiations to give it back, but the problem was whether the Syrian land would extend to the shore of the Sea of Galilee as before, even though the lake's shoreline had receded due to excess use of the water (Syrian position) or the Golan border with Israel would only go to where the shoreline was in 1967 (Israeli position). -

Help! As usual, am baffled by matters Electric [this time re. solar pump connection]
I'm pretty well ignorant of this stuff, but I don't think that's the problem. Correct me if I' wrong here.... The Specs say the Pump has * Power 250W; * Current: 8A; * Voltage 24-36V. The Panel's sticker says * 340W; * Max Power (Vmp) = 38.5V; * VoC: 46.4V * Current Imp: 8.84V I relooked at the Pump manual which says the Power from the solar panel should be 1.5 times the solar pump power ie. for a 250W solar pump, the panel should be rated 375W. As indicated above, the panel is actually rated 340W. It's only a 10% difference - could that be the problem??? -

b-b-b-b-but IDGAF. Big strong guy like George Floyd could easily make money by actually working if he wanted. He had enough energy to father 5 children from a variety of women, none of whom he married. He did not deserve to die, but he was not Saint George the Innocent either. Long criminal history, plus substantial stretches in prison do not generally make a sympathetic figure. -

I think many people want Putin to have problems, but in reality it is all going his way. And getting rid of Assad is just another advantage. Russia is on a military economy, the population are not being called up because he is using Koreans instead, sanctions are having no effect and their is no strategic loss in Syria. He's just got to sit back and watch as the West ties itself in knots
