Having just watched a documentary on a considered great artist who died of heroin overdose, I wonder why the 'Art World' & the 'Music World' turns its back with a blind eye to rampant substance abuse that so called 'great artists' use for inspiration to create master works to allow them to generate much recognition and wealth, yet the use of drugs to enhance one's performance, which is not only illegal, but such practices are condemned in the business community and the sporting community, so why is it tolerated and in the Arts Community. If Armstrong has lost his cycling titles under the cloud of presumption due to the use of drugs, why aren't works of art or music from drug addicted artists cast aside as fraudulent.?
