Tippaporn
How many in the UK fell in love to this song from Gerry & the Pacemakers in 1963? I was neither in the UK at the time nor was I old enough for that yukky stuff.

Tippaporn
Great drivin' music. I used to do long haul road trips back then. 18~24 hour drives. Music like this kept you from zzzzing out (along with a bit of smoke). Pedal to the metal.

Andrew Dwyer
Another classic album from my youth came to mind. Barclay James Harvest - Live , 1974 I think, anyway a great album which confirmed my suspicions that i was indeed a prog rock fan.BJH - Summer Soldier
Andrew Dwyer
A spin off from Barclay James Harvest was a group called The Enid , here they are with a beautiful version of BJH’s most memorable song. bannork
Andrew, it's a lonely path posters tread on this thread. Lately we have been blessed by Tippaporn , a shooting star who arrived out of the blue with his treasures of the last fifty years or more. A fellow traveller, we can but pray he will not desert his fellow pilgrims on the holy grail of good music. Other visitors drop by for an occasional soiree but who can say when they will visit again? But never mind, Andrew,. We must soldier on because the music stands by itself. Do the trees exist even if no one can see them? Of course they do. As does the music. Notes, melodies and rhythms, the music of the spheres. . 1
