Another Fishy Question

where can i buy, if possible, baby Barramundi in Thailand ? is it sold under a different name here, as i thought i spotted it a while back being sold as some sort of perch ...

Its name is pla krapong but often when in resteraunts they call it sea bass because then it can sell for a higher price

Can be confusing with similar sounding words (to Farang ears anyway)

ปลากระป๋อง bplaa gra bpaawng canned fish

ปลากะพง bplaa ga phohng a [type of] fish, the bass

If I remember correctly, NamSai farm sell them. Just do a search on google and they should come up

Sea Perch is crap. Tastes like dirt. Thai and Malay think is is great and they can have it all.

I thought Bmundi was a sea fish or at least brackish. How do you plan on farming them? I have been known to be wrong before.
