Among the leaders : BT-50, Ranger, Vigo (in that order).

Might help some to get a helicopter view, even though the article mainly focuses on the shortcomings of the Toyota.

I think in the article they are in general very positive about the Vigo. With a 3rd place for an outdated model it is really doing very well in this comparison.

When the new model arrives I would expect it to rank even higher.

Yep, no doubt that Toyota will do what it takes to retain their #1 status..

The question is, when is it coming? Sales haven't yet waned, and they're already planning another minor change (export markets only) for the current gen in 2013, so the next gen could be as far away as 2015 now..

Well I've decided on a Toyota. Can't be doing with waiting around 6 months for a Ford or Mazda, and I just don't like the Isuzu as much.

what? what? ...the BT50 is #1 ... ah yes I love my silly-smiling-shark-dolphin truck. haha
