Posted this elsewhere, did a google search, but essentially haven't gotten any clear answers. Currently in Cambodia now, will cross into Thailand via Poipet and into Rongklua Market at roughly noon. Willing to take songtaew from Rongklua up to the AranyaPrathet market (where other buses go) if needed. Was in that area a few months ago and enquired about Pattaya bound buses, no one knew.

Note, want to avoid minivan as much as possible, prefer big buses. Will likely be in Aran in early to mid afternoon, so any buses that go to Pattaya from Rongklua market or Aran market? Thank you.

You can take the bus of Rung ruang (Mokdahan) tour, nr. 815 , there are many lines of bus number 815 (Yasotorn, Roi Ed, Borwin-km. 10), you can ask about Yasotorn( name of province) line, Mukdahan - Aranyaprated- Pataya -Rayong.

Why on heavens earth would one wish to visit Pattaya when there are so many other nicer places.
