Right folks, there is a guy who is the most popular advertisement commentator in Pattaya..he's on the radio, the tv channel and probably so much more.

Anybody who can hear tonal change, will know this guy..because his adverts are the funniest things I hear.. "Come to ******* it's all the way up and its all the way down again but here's the number all the way up and all the way down again. They serve the best all the way up chips and all the way down again fish, but that's not all..the way up and all the way down again.

Sorry maybe I am bored and struggling for a topic, but I always laugh when I hear the guy and practice even more on my radio voice.

I used to hear a guy all the time who spoke as the OP described but with a trace of a foreign accent - ie did not sound to me like a native English speaker - but I could be wrong

When I lived in Pattaya many moons ago we used to play the "Howard Drinking Game" every evening when their "news" came on.

For every time he said "Patt-eee-ya" you had to take one shot of vodka/gin

For every time he mumbled over a Thai name you had to down a "Devil-may-Care" (Double Vodka, Gin, Bailey's and White Rum).

Few left the game sober....

Some are born with a face best suited to radio, others with a voice for mime....

Howard is just a voice over-star.

He manages to attract listeners and let them remember what it is about.

Intentionally or not..........the message came across and is remembered.

Think you are getting a bit confused here. Howard has a shiny head, certainly never wears a syrup. But there are some superb syrups to be seen here, that's for sure.
