What Steps Are Needed To Obtain 1 More Year Non-Immigrant B Visa

Featured Replies

I have had this same visa now two years running, but my sponsor is no longer available to assist me so I want to know what is required to do this. I have one month left before expiration. I tried and tried to find a thread on this topic but I couldn't find the specific answer.

I would like to go to the consult within the next two days to get this rolling.

Much Appreciated

bitterbatter, it depends on the purpose of your trip to Thailand. The Thai consulate at Hull, UK gives the various options as follows:

Category “B”

Conducting business in Thailand as an employee of a non Thai company (ie a business based outside Thailand)

or

Taking up employment in Thailand with a company located in Thailand.

or

Undertaking a vocational training course (teaching, diving, boxing, etc).

Other consulates can be expected to use similar criteria to judge whether you qualify for a non-B visa. Each purpose has its separate requirements for document submission and you would have to ask the consulate where you apply what exactly they want.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
