Hi guys, I would like to ask about how the Non Immigrant "B" visa works.

I am about to work in Thailand soon and I got a single-entry Non Immigrant "B" visa for a three month stay only even though I was hoping for a multiple-entry visa for a much longer stay. Does it mean I have to exit the country before the visa's expiry and have to get a new visa all over again? Is there a way to get a Non Immigrant "B" visa for a longer period.

Visa runs can cost money and it would be inconvenient to keep extending your stay in Thailand especially when you have work. Please let me know what the best course of action that I should take.

Working requires a work permit, if you have a work permit and the required income you can get an extension of stay of 1 year from immigration.

Income r quirement depends on your nationality and your job. (teachers, memebrs of the media and people working for the government don't have a minimum income requirement).
