Zen
When i create a Word Document and insert a picture, say, on the top of the document for example, the picture will not show up when i scroll down and scroll up again. However, when i single-click on the "space" that the picture was supposed to be at, a black box appears so I know the picture is still there. I have to scroll up and down a few times before the picture re-appears. However, when i click on "Print Preview", the picture will never show up regardless of what i do. It's just an empty space there. But when i click on Print, the picture does appear on my print out. What's wrong with my laptop?
Florin
Did you just copy/paste the picture from a website? I've had that happen in some cases, if so, try saving the picture on your computer first and then copy/paste it into the Word document.
yeti
You have 2 ways to "insert" an image in a word document: - copy and paste - insert/picture/from file... and you chose the jpg (or another format) file you want to insert Word does not deal with those 2 methods in the same way, so try them both and see which one gives you the best results. Oishi
Go to Tools - Options - View tab - look at the SHOW box and uncheck the "Picture placeholders" box
