ThailandBert Posted September 30, 2012 Share Posted September 30, 2012 Today is evidently a Buddha day so the wife is engaged in keeping the big man sweet so left me at a loose end. I decided to have a day in the kitchen. This morning I knocked up some crumpets which I had for a late breakfast smothered in butter and this afternoon made a batch of lovely tangy mango chutney and some chilli apple and date chutney. I also made some garlic and onion Naan breads to freeze so all set for a curry night. Going to freeze some of the crumpets to see how they freeze so I can make up a good batch at a time. Also have a duck marinating tonight and will dry it out tomorrow for Peking duck.
