FIRST POST!!! wink.png

(Oh gawd, a burger topic)

1. The Dukes (The main branch on the river)

2. Irish Pub (On Ratwithi Road; get the everything-burger)

After that it depends on personal preference and budget. I'm rather partial to the Big Kahuna burger myself.

Go!

boringggggggggggg

On the contrary, Chiang Maiians like food topics, especially of the burger kind.

cummon just another 'plug' post for 'certain' sponsors to say 'hey try...................' who comes to CNX and asks 'where's the best burger'? like going to Rome and asking 'where's the best Fried Rice'

Seriously, another Chiang Mai burger thread?

You have to be kidding me.

Burger King for consistency, burgers at Dukes are hit and miss. everytime i got one there it either soaked the bun to death or was over cooked rock hard.

The Dukes express which is now shut down was good though.

Well first off thank you for bringing this topic up again.

As for the best Burger in town that is dependent on what you want. For all the fixings Dukes on the river and in the Night Bazaar along with the Burger King. The one in the night Bazaar is a bit pricier as is their rent.

For mid range home made I like the one at Geckos and the Royal Lanna both kind of plain but home made.

For inexpensive and still really good I like the Burger Queen behind Wat Phra Singh.

Have not tried the UN Irish Pub Yet but if the Burger is as good as the breakfast I defiantly will give it a go.

If there wasn't a best burger thread on TV every few months then I'd be worried.

My vote is still Dukes.

dave2 - Coke with breakfast??sick.gif

Agreed, Dukes = best burger.

C.M. Saloon is actually not a bad burger. Can't beat the drink prices there.

Its their life. and the verdict...grill-ty as charred

Quit bitching, ...this thread is timely as the number one, Gypsies grill and number two, Dukes express are now closed. Dukes is not so convenient for me, my vote now goes to CM saloon.

3 Little Pigs does a killer burger and Pickles recently put a good one on their menu too. I'm amused by the comments regarding eating Western food here but I look out for burgers for my Thai kids (who won't touch Mc D's after trying it once - at 7 & 9 they have good taste!). Yesterday brought home a Burger & Bacon Pizza from Pickles for them, 2 of their favorite foods 2gether makes 2 happy boys!!

Definitely needed resurrecting, nothing for a few days burger related.

Buy the burgers (3 for 79฿) and the buns at Makro and make my own.

They are the best, but there may be a little bias! tongue.png

IMHO Sizzler Steak House in KSK or Airport Plaza has a burger that equals anything that the best farang owned restaurants in Chiang Mai can offer.

3 Little Pigs does burgers now? Will have to try. They do fries too?

Don't remember as I only had a bite of my boys but I do know that their new Chef from America just started so some changes should be expected anyways. I found that Sizzler was one of the only places that could actually do a medium rare and it was ok but for that price I did expect both halves of the bun (they ran out - I guess of tops only??)
