meatballs
I'm trying to send my wife some money. The payment form is requesting the state of the bank branch. Is a Thailand province equivalent to a state? There also appears to be smaller districts that are smaller than provinces. I'm not sure what we would term these in English. Would these be considered cities? I'm pretty confused. Edited October 3, 2012 by meatballs
StevenHeidbriderSr
If you dont want to use Western Union which can be expensive but easiest to wire and KNOW the intended recipient got it Then have your wife open a Bank of Bankok account so you can then use Bank of Bamkok New Yorks routing number and your Wife's Bankok Bank account number to transfer funds from your US account. kruangfaifar
To answer the OPs question simply yes province is equivalent to state and if you get the bank name and the account number right you should be Ok. You don't have to fill in every space on an address to make a bank transfer Posted with Thaivisa App http://apps.thaivisa.com
AyG
Are you trying to give the address of a local bank branch? If so, this is probably wrong. The SWIFT code (if that's how the payment is being made) is associated with the bank's head office, and that's the address that should be used.
