Thailand police crackdown on pornographic content production
Definitely not Shakespeare. In both the English and Spanish languages however the rabbit has become synonymous with the vagina in certain time periods. Perhaps Thai police are more erudite that we might suspect, after all some British men were involved, and Rabbit Slaughter is a learned allusion to the vagina in the slang of the producers? Why slaughter though? Because they're slaughtering the vagina film producers maybe, oh they are so lyrical these Thai police... -

Trumpy-nomics -- "fixing" an economy that is already great. What could possibly go wrong?
Frankly. I'm worried. Trump's plans are tailored towards oligarchs and inflicting pain on the masses. I don't think we have many oligarchs here. It's interesting to compare to Argentina who elected a Trump-like character as well for economic reasons. But Argentina's economy has been a basket case for generations, and radical change made much better sense there. The worse months of the inflation time under Biden would be like a pipe dream for them. Indeed inflation is down in Argentina (still objectively quite bad though) but poverty has spiked massively as the price. Elon Musk even before the election signaled great pain was in store for the American masses, but I don't think very many Trump voters heard that (or let it get in the way of the magical thinking about the power's of "strong man" Trump). So more or less Argentina kind of HAD to take massive risks with their economy. The USA most certainly didn't. On the face of it -- INSANE. -

British man’s Thai-high’ trip goes up in smoke at Manchester customs
If you’re referring to the term “policeman-killer,” it could mean one of two things depending on the context: 1. A killer who targets police officers – This could describe a criminal or individual responsible for the killing of police officers. 2. A policeman who kills – This could refer to a police officer who has committed acts of violence or killings, possibly in the line of duty or otherwise. —-- English is not my mother language. Looks like yours too. -

Smoke Detector inside the room of a condo - Doesn't blink, should it?
In a previous condo building I lived in, the smoke detector inside the room flashed red every so often, maybe around 30 seconds to a minute each flash. I am now living in a different condo building. The smoke detectors inside my room of this condo building doesn't blink at all. I thought that smoke detectors should periodically have a flashing red LED light that blinks every minute to show that it's working and that there's still battery in it. I asked my real estate agent when I moved in, who's also a foreigner, but he had no clue. The Thai owner of the room said he thinks all the smoke detectors in the rooms should be hard-wired and doesn't think there's a battery in each. I asked the juristic office and they also had no clue. Anyone here experts in smoke detectors know what could be the correct answer? -

K bank E-mail with Tax Forms attached ?
OK maybe a stupid question, but here goes. I didn't get the email but I did copy the three PDF forms that were posted on this topic. Then I found that I couldn't enter text into them. Adobe offers an upgrade but I'm not interested. Can you enter text on the forms you got (if you got the email)? If you can't enter text, of course you can print the forms and write by hand and then scan to send by email but what a pain. Response appeciated. -

EV Owners Frustrated as Samui Ferries Restrict EV Transport Over New Year Period
Sure it is. No point in acknowledging that EV fires are little more than an outlier, and ICE engines are statically more likely to catch fire. Nor is it worth pointing out that no Western nanny state has yet banned EVs due to their dangers. This is simply some fool exercising what little authority they have. I'd like to say well-intentioned fool, but this is Thailand and given that EV sales accounted for a fair percentage of vehicles sold in Thailand over the last couple of years, it wouldn't surprise me if some Thai ICE vehicle manufacturing lobby was whispering in a few ears. it seems to me rather like the controversial vape and the thai tobacco monoply's successful effort to keep them illegal did despite the unhindered sale of cigarettes.
