Oil Prices Dropped By 40 Satang This Morning

Featured Replies

Oil prices dropped by 40 satang this morning.

Oil retailers reduced the price of Benzene and Diesel fuels by 40 satang per liter, effective since 5am this morning.

The price reduction caused retail oil prices in Bangkok to stand as follow: Benzene 95 is now sold for 26.84 baht per liter, while gasohol 95 is priced at 25.34 baht per liter. Benzene 91 is sold for 26.04 baht per liter. Diesel fuel price dropped to 24.29 baht per liter.

The oil prices are moving in the opposite direction to the price of electricity. Energy Minister Wiset Jupibal (วิเศษ จูภิบาล) said that the fuel tariff (Ft) rate during February to May will come out next week. He said that the Ministry will see how much the cost of electricity generation will reduce, but he insisted that the price of electricity will not rise as much as 32 satang per unit.
