We sent the application last Saturday to VFS in Manchester (postal centre), had a few text message updates throughout the week and received the Passport this morning.

She was granted a Multiple Entry 90day Schengen valid for 1 year.

(although she will hopefully have Citizenship before the end of the validity)

I had reservations about VFS before the application, but everything was smooth. (apart from me thinking i'd filled in the wrong form)

Thanks

Your are allowed to make the number of entries into the Schengen area that is stated on the visa.

PS. I see from your OP that it is a multiple-entry visa and therefore multiple entries can indeed be made during the validity period of the visa. I have had guests from Thailand who flew to Milan, Italy, spent a week in Switzerland, flew to the UK (non-Schengen) and spent a week therre, flew back to Switzerland where they spent another week, then flew from MiIlan back to Thailand.

Multi entries and noone ever cares that you enter through a different port IE visa issues from German embassy enter through Holland as first port etc.

Have fun
