Hi everyone could someone tell me the best way to get to krabi airport from ao nang, also the quickest way to ko lanta from ao nang.

The best way from Ao Nang to the airport is by taxi. Common fare is 600 Baht, but some give you a ride for 500. The quickest way from Ao Nang to Koh Lanta is again by taxi. The boat trip is scenic, but door to door it takes you 3-4 hours incl waiting time. By car it's 2-3 hours, subject to the waiting time at the car ferry. The taxi fare is subject to destination on Koh Lanta between 2300-2800 Baht/vehicle and the boat 450 Baht/Pax. If you go by boat, ask for hotel pick-up and delivery. The tuk-tuks at Saladan pier are asking for exorbitant prices to bring you to your resort.

The last time i went to Ao Nang i seem to remember an airport bus which seemed to offer a good and very cheap service. I think it left from outside MacDonalds on the main street.

I didn't mention the airport bus, as Trev asked for the best way. You can ask your resort to call the bus company and they pick you up. But you have to consider 60 to 90 min travel time, as the bus really stops everywhere. The fare ist 150 Baht. The same is possible from the airport to your resort in Ao Nang. It also stops at Krabi bus terminal.
